Editorial policy
Coastal Tennis Review aims to make its coverage clear, careful and useful. We distinguish explanation from opinion, avoid overstating what a detail can tell us and correct material errors when they are brought to our attention.
Accuracy and clarity
We check names, terminology and factual claims before publication, using sources appropriate to the subject. Where an explanation depends on context, we make that context clear. We do not present guesses as established facts or promise that every account captures every local variation.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for the reader, not to secure a favourable mention or commercial outcome. A relationship with a partner does not determine our conclusions, and we do not accept payment in exchange for an undisclosed editorial endorsement.
Corrections
If you believe something is inaccurate, send the detail and, where possible, an explanation through the Contact page. We review correction requests and amend material errors with a clear note where the change affects a reader’s understanding.
Partners and illustrations
Paid or partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when that applies, we identify them accordingly and do not use them as evidence of a real place or event.
A court is part of its place
Tennis beside the sea is shaped by more than the lines on the court. The setting, shared routines and changing surroundings all deserve a closer look.
